Seville, Spain (4/14/19-5/17/19)
I had the pleasure of studying abroad in Seville, Spain during the spring term of my sophomore year. While in Spain, I took two courses: Spanish Literature and Art and Architecture. As a part of our coursework, we often went on excursions to different historical landmarks and neighboring cities. My time in Spain allowed me to form lasting friendships with my fellow classmates as well as my host family. Living with a host family allowed me to practice my Spanish-speaking abilities consistently and ask them questions about life in Seville. We formed a wonderful bond and they taught me so much about their culture and what it meant to them. My journey in Spain was an eye-opening experience that allowed me to not only better my language skills, but also gain an insight into life in a different culture. The beautiful city of Seville will forever be one of my favorite places in the world.
